The Commander of the Somali National Army, General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, today inspected the Somali National Army forces in the front lines of the battle in the Masaajid Ali Gaduud area of ​​the Middle Shabelle region.

The areas that General Sahal Abdullahi inspected today were recently taken over by the Somali National Army and local residents from the Al-Shabaab group.

The Commander of the Somali National Army commended the forces on the front lines for their successes in the fight against Al-Shabaab, and urged them to redouble their efforts until the group is completely eliminated from all areas in the country.

The General also called on the Somali people to increase their support and solidarity with the Somali National Army, which is fighting the fierce battle against Al-Shabaab militants.

However, the inspection by the commander of the ground forces is coming, as government forces and local residents have significantly increased their operations against Al-Shabaab in the Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions in recent days.
